How to get a Medical Billing job????
I just took classes at a community college! I have a certificate! Now how do I get started , and get a job, with no experience?Eventually I would like to work at home! That is my dream! To work at home, and not be tortured by mean people!
Sorry to say, you have to hit the pavement girl. Go out to hospitals, doctor’s offices, dentist offices, etc. Read the help wanted section of the local newspaper.
Go back to the community college and see if they have a referral program that can help you find openings for work.
As a medical biller you are caught in the middle. Insurance companies who really drag their feet in making payments and the patients who all too often don’t have the financial means to pay.
I know of no medical billing job that lets you work at home. You may be thinking about medical transcription. You get tapes of diagnosis to transcribe and then you put it to disk and or paper for filing.
