Medical Code And Billing

without comments

Is the Medical Coding/billing a good career field to go into?

I am thinking of going to school to be a health information technician. Does anyone know what the entry level pay is, and is this a good field to go into.

I was very fortunate to actually get experience working in medical Coding And Billing without actually going to school for it. When I was a kid I babysat for my neighbors and when I got out of high school I went to work in his Chiropractic office. They taught me billing firsthand and now I have over 6 years of experience in the field. Its not what I’m going to school for now but I’m still working in that field because its great money and easy to find a job doing it. Now I’m an office manager for a different chiropractor so theres room for advancement too. Theres so many opportunities out there for people who know what they’re doing! I think it would be a great move for you.
